      We're combining the power of #RedHat @OpenShift, the industry’s most comprehensive enterprise #Kubernetes platform, and @Azure, @Microsoft’s public #cloud. Get the details: https://red.ht/2FVlJSC  #RHSummitpic.twitter.com/ad4ZGTwVDG

Something about these two logos sitting side by side irks me. Microsoft forcing this "Microsoft ♥ Linux" bull when it's clearly another tactic and everyone forgetting that they are the enemy bothers me.

Funny, because last I checked Microsoft just released Azure Sphere OS, guess what? It's a secured Linux for embedded systems. Oh and that's not to mention WSL, Hyper-V Linux major improvements or Azure full Linux support. MS isn't the enemy, people like you are.

I'm the enemy for being extremely sceptical of Microsofts sudden and suspicious change in behavior? You know their motto of "embrace, extend, extinguish", right? Obviously, Linux support is a good thing but again, I'm sceptical.

Unlike the previous 2 CEOs who considered Linux a cancer, this CEO finally was able to come out in the spot light and embrace open-source. They're a member of the Linux Foundation and contribute to quite a number of heavy hitter open source projects such as Kubernetes and Docker

A company as large as Microsoft is, it's hard to believe that their views could be changed so drastically and so quickly company wide. If they do actually like Linux now it's because they see it as a necessary step in their own survival over their actual affection for Linux.

You should listen to Code Radio. They got some inside scoop. But essentially yes, it's alittle of both. The world is moving to open-source so either MS starts loving it or MS starts dying.
