"The government repayment plan affords the Meru family a comfortable life. Their home is on a mountain with panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks surrounding Salt Lake City. They take vacations, including a recent trip to Havana. He drives a used Tesla." Sorry, doc. #nopity

Then you haven't looked for a job. Any high school grad. can get a job that pays at least $13/hr. You must have majored in something totally stupid.

Start with the con game that colleges are using to get kids to sign for a loan and than ask why a so called intelligent man allowed himself to be doped into these loans.

Good lord. #StudentLoanReform sorely needed. There has to be some correlation from the amount borrowed to the potential earnings & pay back capabilities. @usedgov

Nope. No more loan guarantees, ESPECIALLY for grad/PhD. Put risk on the banks. Teach kids other education (i.e. be a plumber) can have better ROI. (And, while we're at it, teach kids ROI.) Oh, and make colleges (public and private) pay tax set aside for federal grant aid.

He got a free education with a lucrative career with no money out of pocket & now he wants to whine. If he doesn’t pay his loans confiscate his license to practice or make him give free dental to the poor. There are too many of these selfish people that we are supporting. #MAGA
