I was diagnosed with LDs when I was 7, in the early 90’s long before it was trendy. I have visual processing disorders. my max reading speed is the same speed most people read aloud. Without accommodations, I wouldn't have made it through high school or college.

And there is no way I would have made it into law school without the accommodations on the LSAT. Between undergrad and law school, I worked in the real world for 10yrs and succeeded.

I know that people without learning disabilities resent the accommodations that seem unfair. Extra time on tests doesn't give you answers to the tests though. We still have to study just as hard as everyone else.
