Opinion: No U.S. president has been as loathed in Europe as Donald Trump. But the Continent knows it still needs America, writes @wrmeadhttps://on.wsj.com/2KLwv0R

At no time in world history have Americans cared LESS about what Europe thinks about our President. Germany is very lucky it was leveled after it's people followed Hitler during his many years of heinous atrocities . . .pic.twitter.com/3ZcPyPjgve

The Europeans should have checked the relevant clauses in the American Constitution, assessed the state of congressional sentiment, and realized that Mr. Obama simply lacked the authority, political or constitutional, to commit the country permanently to the Iran agreement.

If that is true, we can thank the endless vitriol of the US media for its portrayal of our country and our president.

Also, the majority of the US don't like him either, remember he did not win the popular vote by several millions of votes.

Nothing new. Western Europe has been on the $ nipple for years and what did we get? Nada. Now Trump is calling the weenies out and their egos can't take it. Really don't care what they think or feel.

They said the same thing about Reagan. Forced the Soviet Union to tear down the Berlin Wall. How did that work out for Europe?
