Exactly, was thinking the same thing, or posting a picture of a shirt saying "Born To Kill" on Facebook. I'm sure they're shocked & sad, but lesson for parents, is open your eyes, and monitor your kids social media.

How is it that all of the relatives of these mass murderers are always shocked? No doubt they all have guns in their closets though.

Why weren’t their guns locked up? Let’s hold the parents of these kids accountable! 😢

Shocked that they forgot to lock up their guns in a safe where their little ANIMAL couldn’t get to them? I’m SHOCKED. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Well, it isn't surprising to us anymore. This is the twenty second time this year and we are on pace for 58 by years end. Maybe some parents need to find out who their kids are before the kids are GONE, one way or the other?

STOP showing the shooter’s face & glorifying his name. Even if the words you use condemn his acts - it’s still contributing to the glorification of his heinous act. STOP. Just stop. Is it worth the $$ you make for a temporary bump in circulation?

They should have locked up their guns...how irresponsible to leave firearms readily available to minors with no accountability....this stuff would not happen as easily if folks would simply lock up their weapons!

Shock? Parents be parents and look into what the kids are up too Stop being their buddy - be nosy and get involved. Find out how they are feeling, acting, posting and behaving. Ask questions even if you upset them as you’re the parent not their friend

Teens are very good at keeping secrets. What would have helped would have been NO guns in the home.

I knew sooner or later they'd say they were "shocked"! Perhaps they were too busy caring for their damn weapons to pay attention to their obviously troubled young family member!
