        Awful. Unimaginable. Cars killed 37,000 Americans last year. It doesn't have to be that way, but we accept "car culture" as though it is natural and right and true.

        unborn fruit of the womb, born child. I think 'child' does not go well with 'unborn'. even if I can understand the great sadness of woman who were 'in good hope' (as we say in German) when they lose the fruit of their womb.
