Much of the tens of billions of dollars spent on the government's information technology is wasted on maintaining costly and duplicative legacy systems that are often 10 to 20 years out of date, according to critics on both sides of the aislehttps://on.wsj.com/2L4HKCz

The USA should have the best systems in the world. However, @realDonaldTrump and Jared Kushner are NOT the people who should take charge. American democracy is more valuable and needs to be protected from these two. Vote them out!

I know, they've killed it a bunch of times, now they are so far behind the curve the price is going to be astronomical.😊

Tough finding those 8" 10k floppies and that paper tape.. with the humidity. You know how much space those card programs require? It was outdated 20 YEARS ago. Except for iPads. Now they buy a million iPads and pay suggested retail price! NO DISCOUNT! Who's in charge of THAT? !

Bureaucracy is one of the slowest moving things in the world, it'll never be able to keep up with innovative technology. It should be outsourced to the best of the best but Congress would spend to much time fighting over who gets to give the contract to one their donors.
