Anyone figure in the protection costs incurred by the US to keep the NK from over-running SK? No gratitude with some.

#Trump is doing more to undermine security and world order than any President in recent history. Treaties and agreements are not adhered to by Trump as he lays waste to US credibility throughout the world. It will take a long time to rebuild what he destroys. - 10 more replies

Free rent, but we're there at their Government's request to protect & defend their borders, and also to train their armed forces. We could die for them in a war, and lives lost are priceless. Plus, we give millions to their economy for our rents there and contracts & purchases.

By rents, I mean the rents paid by US Government for the military families and individual active duty members and Government civilians living there. My rent there in the 3 years I lived in Korea working for DoD, was about $3000 per month.
