Because when you’re a hammer (government bureaucrat) everything looks like a nail (problem you can solve through excessive taxation).

Unbelievable! And still groups in the USA send help overseas for the poor they say. Poverty is right here! Help is needed here and now.

Maybe he ought to get rid of restrictive zoning and let people live in multi-unit residences the city closed down over the last few decades. Nah, he’d rather steal from the wealthy instead of let the market solve the problem.

Homelessness does not have to mean a cardboard box on the street. The many shades of poverty and lack of a traditional home.

Plenty of jobs in LA. You can’t fix laziness and drug addiction which account to 75% of homeless population. Mayor Garcetti’s plan is to raise even higher property and sales tax. That’s his brilliant plan! LA people should get rid of Garcetti. Wake up LA people!!!

@MayorOfLA Garcetti's plans R like Lenin's 5-year plans... or was it Stalin... I get them so confused🙄He plans to build more housing instead of stopping illegal immigration-He wants more crowded neighborhoods which of course leads to more crime-This is a filthy city, not B Hills
