Free? The only thing free is the South Korean People who would be at war with North Korea if not for the US forces.

It's not free!! How much do you think it costs to have a protective military presence in SK? It would be much cheaper for US to pull out and they can have the space occupied by NK - WSJ - Stick to reporting Financial news - you can barely get that right.

And in exchange, all our soldiers have to do is promise to die to defend them.

This looks like a CNN headline. Very disappointing coming from the WSJ.

Yeah US should build best missile defense ever & withdraw from world when they take advantage of us. @realDonaldTrump we spending so much on troops to protect them, but need them for US & need the money to build an unheard of fierce, 100% iron clad defense.

Can't believe the WSJ has reduced itself to reporting this way. Propaganda. How much money & loves did we the US citizens sacrifice to keep them free? How much blood sacrifices in war? We've paid plenty WSJ. Thanks for your biased, dumb, myopic journalism here.

Omg! We protected them. We deserve that free real estate outright! How many years did we protect our friends? & giving us that piece would be a symbol of love & appreciation.& how many American lives did we sacrifice?! Too many mothers, families lived without. Priceless sacrifice!

Rent free? That's rich. Ask the men and women who are deployed there is they think their crib is "rent free". #mediamadness #nofreelunch
