The first P.F. Chang’s restaurant to open in China calls itself an 'American bistro'—and draws curious diners who want to know what Americans think Chinese food should taste likehttps://on.wsj.com/2Gb8kpR

This is rather like when the first Taco Bell opened in Mexico City.

PF Changs is not what Americans think Chinese food should taste like.

Reminds me of when Starbucks decided to teach the Italians how to make coffee. Um...no.

P.F. Chang's is alright, but it doesn't taste like other Chinese restaurants in America. So it's not exactly American Chinese food. It's its own thing.

PF Chang’s is horrible. Might as well open an Olive Garden in Italy. Ew.

Terrible comparison. PFC is a take on Chinese cuisine, Olive Garden is someone's take on Italian refuse.

Does anyone actually go to a P.F Chang’s thinking that it’s even close to resembling authentic Chinese food?

@juliejargon good test to see if it is"too fake" Chinese food and service for the Chinese; PFCB remains privately held. #restaurants

I have a friend from Mexico City who can't get enough Taco Bell when he visits L.A. Go figure.

Should do as well as Taco Bell did with its foray into Mexico.
