No one is trying to stop LEGAL immigration. We have laws and enforcing those laws in regards to illegal immigration is the correct thing to do.

"These moves have alienated conservatives, who think politics has no place in church." But i'm betting these same people think it's okay to have church in politics 🙄

The real problem with churches turned political activist, is that they become nothing more than PAC’s, that drive out members not holding to their political ideals. In the long run it will drive them closer to extinction.

That’s a long ass article and I didn’t read it all, but if evangelicals can praise Trump, Protestants can oppose him. This is the USA, and last I knew we are free. Additionally, it’s the job of the church to provide a sanctuary. So helping immigrants, that’s their business. WWJD?

Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's... Is it also not following Jesus when you put a lock on your door or a fence around your property? Immigration laws are for the safety and security of the citizens and Jesus would not advocate breaking laws.

The pastor is saying a lot without speaking. It sounds like if a church wants to stay in business, they had better be super duper nice to the president & his associates. I’m sure the churches that preach in favor of our president are doing quite well.
