Who's paying who? Starbucks is paying them because they were loitering around one of their shops, not making any purchases and then refused when the police requested that they leave the premesis? Dangerous precedent, sell SBUX!

These men should be apologized to publicly and anyone who doesn't understand this is part of the problem.

Starbucks business model is hanging out without buying things. Other people in that store saw multiple white people use the restroom without buying anything. It is only about race. Wake up

In that Starbucks? With that manager? Same manager that allowed others to use the restroom for free?

I didn't say that Starbucks is racist. I believe that the manager involved is and that is unfair.

Misleading heading, dear Mr. Wall Street Journal. You should give complete factual news. The news is that they settled for US$1.00 each, as a symbol and then got the city agreed to start a US$200,000.00 grant, to help local students.

Ghetto lottery. Worth resisting for sure. Wonder what me and my 3 white business partners could get when they made us wait outside or purchase something at Orange county Starbucks.

They missed the best part in the headline. Each took $1 and had the rest donated.
