You know who collects more of your personal data than Facebook? Google—so why aren’t we talking about it?https://on.wsj.com/2JwilQA

I just tried Googling “Google is stealing my personal data” and it came up with no search results ;)

Google is better run, has more internal controls, and isn't as eager to sell your data to bad actors. If you had two kids, Google would be the one who went to college and became a lawyer; Facebook would be the dropout who sells weed in a dark alley.

I don't think Google would misuse our personal data like Facebook did. Since I don't think there should be a reason for it to be published or handed to any other organizations similar to Cambridge Analytica.

These tech companies are the biggest threat to our privacy! More so than the federal government. Their impact on our long term freedom lurks in the electronic mosaics that they build & the powerful lobbyist they hire.

Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Shazam, Twitter, Instagram, Amazon, are the largest data harvesters in existence today. With no real rules to comply against, this will only continue. It’s not a question of the companies. It’s a question of the lack of rules and oversight.
