So @Amazon, your quarterly revenue rose 43%, now you RAISE Prime 20%? Pretty GREEDY...

My prime 2 day shipping has turned to complete garbage over the last 2 years and this may be the justification i need to cancel it.

Prices use to be great. I did subscribe & save every month but you can do way better on price by searching what you want under shopping. And it doesn't cost a yearly fee. With all the stores delivery or door pickup I don't see the value.

They may have more offerings, but the quality is less. Old movies, old TV shows, less included with Prime, as well as less two day shipping and more items that are so called "add on's" requiring $25 purchase. $79 to $100 to $119 to goodbye.

@Amazon can’t afford to show how you appreciate loyal customers by NOT increasing prime??? Or will my deliveries now come by magical owls, cause then it’d be worth it.

I still will pay. Value for $119 is tremendous.

It was when you actually got two day shipping, now you would often get the same shipping speed even if you chose the longest possible shipment time. Value proposition was stronger when their service was more reliable.

I’ve never had an issue. And they compensate if late prime deliveries are made. The value for web services, video, music, tv make it an easy price to pay.

My prime deliveries are late all the time, yes you can message them and hassle them to get restitution, but you have to make the active effort to do that and time is money.

Are they using any of that money to fix the prison-camp conditions of their warehouses?

And watch Prime-eligible items continue to fall. Try this - search an item and then click "Prime only". 10-20%, maybe, qualify for free shipping.
