No. Europe needs to expand its defense spending and stop relying on US taxpayers to subsidize their welfare states. It also would help if Europe would stop unfettered immigration which creates instability, and leads to civilizational suicide.

No matter what
@EmmanuelMacron says, Rules are made by flawed human. Hence, they are subject to revision or repeal. If they can’t be meaningfully revised then they should be rejected. Aside from Iran deal, the same holds true for#WTO. -
If we become such a stickler for rules then we would still have slavery in America and apartheid in South Africa. If God’s word are subject to interpretation and reinterpretation then what makes so-called rules based global trade beyond revision and repeal?

Not everything written is real and existing - just ink on paper. So all Islamists are thinking since they exist.

You didn't write these rules; Neither did we! Our last antiAmerican president wrote these rules & your socialist representative wrote these rules!!

the question is US wants to write new rules for the 21st century. that is good if all the major powers can agree on improvement of old rules. however, it seems major powers have very different minds about what the future should be. democratic or non-democratic, a 19st division
-
even more problematic, the leaders of US can not agree on whether US democracy should be kept for the future. that is a 18st century problem solved by the US revolutionary leaders at that time. a total disaster for the future humanity
