So why does this tweet have a picture of a black man instead of the white shooter?

Yeah, that was my first question as well. We only find out the man in the photo is actually the HERO of the day if we read beyond the headline. Grr.

It's cool that you posted a pic of the dude who stopped him instead of glorifying the shooter. But maybe you should have made that a little clearer in the headline or caption. Just a thought...

This photo is not the "suspect" nor the "gunman." This is terrible. Take this down now.

Shame on you,
@WSJ - do some real reporting and lead with a picture of the suspect or change your headline instead of making the HERO look like the bad guy.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

In the Waffle House killings...Use a picture of the shooter, NOT the hero. Thanks

@wsj I use to respect your publication, until this Presidency. Suspect is a white guy with an AR-15, sound familiar? You wouldn't be trying to send a wrong message? Correct this picture! Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

When your headline is focused on the suspect, your picture should be the picture of the suspect, not the one who stopped him. If you want to use that picture, headline should start “hero who stopped shooter in Nashville”. You know exactly what you’re doing. Stop this sh*t.
