Um, handling a box takes a slightly different skill set than writing code.

The #woke employees in Seattle should tax themselves to help out their beleaguered colleagues. Oh, what is that I hear? Crickets? How about the #woke Starbucks employees at HQ helping about the baristas? Again, silence?pic.twitter.com/vrjWGeHAVM

That's not bad for warehouse employees. That's competitive within that market.

That’s a bit of an unfair comparison. Warehouses employ mainly of unskilled labor. The home office is filled with top engineers and managers.

Everyone not reading this story and pretending they or some manager class is more deserving of a living wage should Google Amazon Worker Diapers. This isn't what we should accept in America and yet...

Warehouse work everywhere pays around $10 to $15 per hour. That would have to go up nationally.

You'd think Amazon could blaze this trail as they are almost single handedly driving up the cost of warehouse sq footage 200%.

That's the market wage for a skillset that only qualifies you to move boxes from one place to another. Is that a surprise to anyone? How much should lifting boxes and setting them back down pay? Really.
