It's too cold for baseball in April, says Jason Gay. How many games should we cut? 10? 20?https://on.wsj.com/2voJTF8

Every Sunday should be double headers. Can get in 15 more games that way and push season back 3 weeks.

Play April games at the southern teams and then switch to north in May. Also, games on western side of US are not impacted. Not that many teams have this problem.

Start games May 1, play through August 31, playoffs in September. It's not complicated.

We have plenty of southern, or inclosed stadiums in the MLB, to play in, until late April early May. If the southern teams are worried about lost revenue during the warmer months, then it’s a trade off for the Northern teams in the colder ones. If that doesn’t work, then cut!

And next April 2019 when it’s in the 80’s we won’t hear a word on this matter. Yawn...

I would restrict the first week of the season to warm weather/dome cities. by cutting back ~7 games (a week) that would have the season start in cold weather cities around April 15th. Also going forward baseball should strongly encourage retractable domes. Best luxury for fans!

10 games each on the front and back end of the season. Don’t forget it gets cold in late October and November too.

As many games as there will be tweet replies saying something along the lines of "Well, libruls, where's this so-called global warming, huh?"
