Don’t stop at 8,000 US @Starbucks on May 29th. M-F of that week ALL public accommodation businesses should join Starbucks close and train their employees on racial bias. No more slow drip end to racism. #BanBias

8,000 stores. Been in business since 1971. One incident. Yeah...no. Deal with the one lone person and move on. Walk into any Starbucks and look at the employees. Their stores are a melting pot of gender/ race.

It's going to be a real drag on business when folks can only order their coffee black. Just saying. @Starbuckspic.twitter.com/CAlhhdIaHp

Perhaps they can add " civilized political discourse" and tolerance to their days of education?

Does anyone really know what the fired manager's skin color and gender is? All the charges of racism and nobody knows all the details.

Taking care of business means serious unconscious bias training in all stores starting at the top with senior execs all the way to each and every barista.

Two things will happen, this training increases the racial bias of those forcibly subjected to it, and they will also start offering "creamers of color."

I do not think this incident was racially motivated. I think it is poor execution of a policy emphasizing turnover of customers. Minorities would be wise to "save your ammo" for a real crisis. Further, shutting down stores for a full day will lead to layoffs. #reach4thedream

Maybe @Starbucks should consider closing a number of their locations permanently.... which ones....

@Starbucks This does not come across as a racist issue. The first report said they called the police because they wouldn't leave after being refused access to the bathroom; because they did not buy a drink first before asking to use the restroom. What are you doing about that?
