Thus, at the time the Twelfth Amendment tinkered with the Electoral College system rather than tossing it, the system’s pro-slavery bias was hardly a secret.

Moby's advice is out-of-touch and only places further burden on the poor. This isn't rhetoric that the right is going to hear as compromise, and it advocates policy that the poor will find degrading. This article serves only negative purposes.

Get real. When did Congress ever "fix" anything? Especially when the abusers represent their voters.

Asking Congress to fix anything is a waste of time.

Maybe so many people wouldn't need SNAP if globalism (Crapitalism) wasn't such a epic failure. 82 percent of the wealth created last year went to the 1 percent. So lets argue about the food SNAP users buy.http://money.cnn.com/2018/01/21/news/economy/davos-oxfam-inequality-wealth/index.html …

Lets argue about SNAP while the one percent hoards as much wealth as the bottom 90 percent combined. FAKE NEWShttps://www.theguardian.com/business/2014/nov/13/us-wealth-inequality-top-01-worth-as-much-as-the-bottom-90 …

USG can fix nothing! Everything they touch, they screw up royally. The right solution is to eliminate programs. No one can fix a mess created by Congress. DTS!

Growing up in 80s in China, I haven't suffered hunger. Because both of my parents worked hard even they were paid with ration stamp from Gov. I cant imagine why so many American have their kids suffered hunger. The early settlers came to US and survived without SNAP.
