I think Starbucks has the wrong strategy. One or two of their employees made a mistake. Instead of making the entire organization responsible for it, they should just fire those employees, issue a statement denouncing discrimination and close the case. @Starbucks

Disgusting Civil rights violation! Starbucks coffee sucks and is overpriced. People stay away, take your business elsewhere.

Did they buy anything before taking up open seats. My guess is not. They wanted to provoke a response.

They were waiting for a friend. Like many, many people have done before them.

Easy to hate Starbucks. I’m more focused on the individual employee who decided to call police. Perhaps they should lose their jobs b for profiling and Starbucks can make this right.

I have a better idea fire the employee that called Five-O on the two black men obvious that the employee is racist otherwise he never would've done it

How about the police officers that arrested these young men? On what grounds was the arrest made? They need to be held accountable too.

A private business has the right to ask someone to leave their establishment. Especially since those two men did not purchase anything. The police merely enforced that right. The men were asked to leave three times but they refused.

But people at the scene were asking why it's never happened to them these people were white the two men black these two men were doing nothing but waiting for a friend and they were told to leave because of skin color that employee and the cops should be held accountable.

If there was racial discrimination, I agree, the employee should be held accountable. But as a private business, that's up to Starbucks. Perhaps they should be more strict on kicking people out if they're not buying anything. But up to Starbucks. Police didn't do anything wrong.

I'm not familiar with Starbucks' policy. I would assume you need to purchase something to loiter around their establishment. But idk.
