While chemical-weapons facilities were the target of the strikes, the Syrian president’s main tool of war has been conventional arms such as rockets, barrel bombs and mortarshttps://on.wsj.com/2JNH97u

Believe it or not, the Cold War has arrived. Western regimes have replaced terrorism and its damage to the world will be greater and longer lasting. However, please believe that this is just the darkness before dawn.

@POTUS goal is not nation-building or regime change. It was simply red line about chemical WMD.

This has nothing to do with civil war, but has been brewing since 2000, when "Quatar" wanted to build their pipeline to Europe over Syria. Rebels against Assad's regime are sponsord by US and Co.

Attack was aimed SOLELY at destroying Assad's chemical weapon capacity. PresTrump is NOT interested to get involved in Syrian Civil War

If Assad had been removed Russia will simply find a replacement and the USA will be stuck in another Iraqi-like Middle East conflict! Not advisable!

Is killing people with chemicals is WORSE than killing them with incendiary barrel bombs, rockets, mortars, & machine guns????

So very sad US didn't invade another country the message seems to be.. Chlorine is used, for example, in purifying water, and therefore a government would obviously have access to it. Whether a water purifying plant, would qualify as weapons facility?

Novichok is not the most dangerous weapon, as we were assured (no one died, except the cat and Guinea pigs). The most dangerous is the "smart and beautiful" trump missiles-no one died at all
