Mark Zuckerberg’s comment could be interpreted as endorsing the idea that Facebook might experiment with a version of its social network that relies on subscription revenue instead of advertisinghttps://on.wsj.com/2IJ3JNi

No, he never "hinted" such a thing. He simply explained what Sandberg meant. He stated that their business model was to generate income from ads,but IF ads couldn't be incorporated ,then it would have to have a different model to operate on. He clealry didn't "hint" or meant it.

Ms. Sandberg has surely been leaning in since she joined Facebook. Isn’t it time someone asked her some difficult questions?

I see Wall Street rewarded him $2 billion today on their belief that maybe he will launch a paid service, which is not something he said at all, and is a pure wish on investors’ part. The stock market continues to show it doesn’t operate within reality, just hopes and dreams.
