It is not a variable in the majority of states. It is a per gallon tax

Way back I predicted that the WONDERFUL tax break ya'll were getting would be eaten up by increased costs. Here comes 1 of 'em! More coming!
-
There might be increased costs in other things, but oil prices have almost nothing to do with the tax breaks. It has to do with a consortium of other random things and the underlying fact that oil prices are volatile.
-
R u saying that u won't be paying more 4 gas at the pumps? Seems 2 me that if I'm paying more 4 gas & other things then that subtracts from the wonderful tax break I got from Trumpie. So, the tax break doesn't give me more purchasing power.
-
What I am saying is that you might pay more now, but it is also likely that gas prices will go down in the future. Trump's tax plan doesn't significantly effect gas prices because most US oil producers were losing money so they wouldn't pay corporate taxes anyway.
