        No pension after retirement in India for employees who joined service after 2002.

        The NPS is applicable to govt employees who joined after 2004. They will build up a reasonable corpus. It could be much bigger if equity limits are raised for them from current 15%. Private sector employees and self-employed can also use NPS. Their equity limit is higher at 50%.
