Who doesn't like a good war. Is there any equally efficient alternative to boost economy? Europe is the new Middle East.

"Europe is the new Middle East." Europe gradually coalesced millennia ago, as a reaction to mid East culture, which it periodically endeavors to repulse, sometimes successfully. It definitely won't succeed this time. But who doesn't like Nazis with Scimitars!?!

NATO has issues meeting the commitment to ISAF and NTM-A. This is nothing new. Every single European powr, including the Russians have only a few pieces of up to date hardware. Look at heavy lift aircraft. With NATO its the C17 or the A400. Some countries have neither or just 1

Most of the NATO countries rely on Russian gas. Besides, their militaries aren't going to have their hands full keeping their own burgeoning Muslim populations under some semblance of control.
