        An autonomous car has caused 1 death, and suddenly its unacceptable. People driving cars causes over 3,000 deaths a day and nobody gives a shit. Expecting autonomous cars to eradicate traffic deaths is preposterous, and the only way they will improve is by continued testing.

        No matter how well designed self driving cars are, there are always some situations where accidents will occur because 1} Even electronic systems have a response time and 2) it is impossible to alter the momentum of a heavy object like an auto instantly.
