The New Jersey Assembly passed gun-control measures, including a so-called 'red-flag law' that would allow family members or others to ask a court to temporarily bar people deemed a risk from possessing or purchasing gunshttps://on.wsj.com/2Grung2

Great now we can all report our neighbors we don't like and have their constitutional rights stripped without a trial.

The @NRA needs to fight this in court. We need a good #2A court case to put these anti-constitution extremists in their place.

Common sense “red flag law”, but you still have to enforce the laws. Parkland shooter could have been stopped. He was white and rich! BSO under reports crimes and let him go 39 to 45 times. BSO Scot Israel is a liability to Broward county! Politics and the BSO are at fault.

What a waste of time. Won’t do a thing to stop gang bangers from getting guns (mostly 9mm handguns, not AR-15 rifles). Just hurts law abiding citizens from defending themselves.

Time will tell. School shootings are not typically done by gang bangers, so these sensible measures can help deter mass shootings.

But being classified as “gun free zones” made them soft targets. No armed security at schools. Best defense against a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Best idea is to harden soft targets. We have security at airports, office buildings, etc. but not soft targets.

I haven’t seen any data to support this theory
