Marchers hoped to display a show of generational force: young people united in the conviction that the adults have failed them and something must change. https://on.wsj.com/2pEaacF pic.twitter.com/Yki6Tx9EwS

Powerful, wealthy, adult-run, liberal organizations' #astroturfing of traumatized children to promote their agenda is on full display. It's utterly shameful. They're KIDS who do NOT fully understand what's at stake here. That's not on the kids. That's on their adult brainwashers.

Exactly. There is absolutely nothing “student run” about this. It’s @Everytown and their PR company at the helm and they didn’t even have the courtesy to give the “student talking heads” articulate speeches that put forth any solution more than “common sense gun control”.

Stop. The kids are being manipulated by adults. Kids could not organize these marches, arrange for the coverage, or make the professionally made protest signs.

2nd Amendment is not going away. NRA is not going away. Weapons like AR-15's will not go away in that they will always be obtainable for those wishing to carry out mass shootings. Protesters are only feeling better about themselves, not accomplishing anything meaningful.

Adults have failed. You spare the rod you spoil the child. Discipline went out the window with Doctor Spock. And legislation has made discipline against the law.

Very odd to see people protesting to have their freedoms taken away. This may be a first in history.
