        It's a very serious issue for all three companies if we haven't consented to our data being "mined". Facebook is the one we're reading about the most. It's a disincentive to share info if we can't secure it. Maybe we should give one-word FB status updates.

        In May the Europeans will introduce the Global Data Protection Regulation. Pick the consumer protection out of it and make it an international solution.
