Doesnt take a rocket scientist to know its a good idea to stop traffic while you are tightening guide wires for the first time on a new bridge that hasnt even been up a week.

Crews were adjusting tension cables while people were on the bridge and traffic was flowing below?! NEVER AGAIN tighten stress cables on a bridge while people are on the bridge and traffic is flowing below.

WHY didn't they close off traffic while doing this???? No excuse. Charges of manslaughter should be brought forth to the company involved.

I can’t imagine the lawsuits that are about to handed out like free money...it’s eventually going to fall on the engineer ruining his career and life even though it was the complete negligence of shutting down or detouring traffic while ADJUSTING A BRIDGE! DOT should have known

I’m tying to figure out who thought it was a good idea to adjust it once it was in place over traffic... I get that it’s an ABC bridge, and others have been made successfully, but does it make sense for it to have been put over the road w/o the proper adjustments?
