        This why I wont set foot in Best Buy. People have a receipt and return within the time on the receipt and are denied. Just don’t go, they have always been shady.

        I’ve got warning from them as well. And i’ve been best buy elite plus member for a years. It was more than a 6 month since I stopped buying from them. Amazon is the way to go.

        @BestBuy never had to return an item but just cancelled my BB credit card. I don't like shady big business practices. PC Richard is across the street, Amazon & eBay at my finger tips. Sure, there's no perfect company but this is disgusting.

        Great reporting! Yes times are tough but this is a dumb way to erode shopper trust: a) Your word (return policy) doesn’t mean much (b) customers don’t know when where they stand till they’ve crossed the line. Most wouldn’t bother.

        Add this to continually having to show your license for transactions and the guard at the door who digs through your bag. @BestBuy is more like a prison than a store.

        I guarantee The Retail Equation is working on or has an algorithm that identifies people as "this customer only buys sale priced products and is not profitable."
