        Its true, our welfare systems are a huge tax sinkhole, full of government waste and overpaid employees in overstaffed buildings. Could probably invest in both if we cut the fat, but that'll never happen.

        Should be the same. Caring for the elderly is a given a thanks for all the years they took care of their children and contributed to society, a given to the children who’s futures depend on it to continue to do the same
