College admissions tests have come under attack in recent years, but research shows they are valuable predictors of success.http://on.wsj.com/2Ic22Zc

25 ACT score, 3.96 college GPA. I don’t know. Not very indicative in my opinion. Expect somewhere near 5 additional ACT points for that performance. Thats substantial when applying to colleges. Thats the difference between admission and rejection at some.

I disagree. I bombed my Gmats. Re-took them, did worse... I had several professors that were willing to advocate for my acceptance to school, I went to a very competitive private school, and graduated with a 3.9 GPA. They were going to reject me over those GMAT scores.

They only seem to be valuable predictors because the people who write them are the same people who hire. IJS Intelligence is not merely being able to follow, memorize and mimic another, it's shown when you can create knowledge from the knowledge received...pic.twitter.com/LP5fNBasLk

        I don't know. I made a 22 on ACT, predicting a C average in college. I finished above 3.1.

ignored the massive evidence they are meaningless and misused. They are for placement only. There is a reason why about 1.000 colleges and universities have dumped them @FairTestOffice
