Wow this is tone deaf! your suggestion for men who purchase a shirt that’s $60 but often 40% off (to $36) are shirts ranging from $125-$464?! I think people like how breathable these are. How many people are seriously going to spend $500 on one shirt?

Someone please kick me if I ever spend $400+ on a shirt.

My gingham shirts run $50 or less each. So I’ll stick with the crowd and not go with a $474 alternative as you propose...

Not sure I agree with your 5
@jacobwgallagher. Maybe a bit 'risky' for a gingham-wearer. Also, they are expensive: people default to#jcrew because of convenience and cost (esp. if they're younger). What about: denim; white; navy; check... (see @ tags for vendors.)pic.twitter.com/JAfyTs4Gcz

... as well as striped, courtesy of
#JCrew. (Well, guys like it!) Admittedly a fair bit of blue, so I would also consider khaki green or maybe a red check shirt (although Black Watch is a great plaid). Any thoughts@StyleGF?pic.twitter.com/JyLqNZbk24

Well noted Charlie. I do understand where you're coming from. To make my case, I was looking for brands that are of a higher quality (and yes, in turn, end up being more expensive) than what you might find at J. Crew. It's more important to me to guide the reader to something

Understood
@jacobwgallagher, I am clearly a lower-budget version of you! Joking aside, too often other reporters simply throw money at the problem (ahem,@GQMagazine), which used to annoy me when I was younger. -
I totally feel you. For what it's worth, I really believe that it's better to spend that $150 on a quality shirt than $50 on something that won't last/is probably produced in a less than ethical or thoughtful manner.

Wow. I’m pretty sure each of these shirts exceeds my total shirt budget for the past ten years. When you can trick dudes into paying as much for clothes as women, you’re doing alright.
