Then cut spending including enntitlements to balance to revenues as spending only begets more spending made up by debt which is still spent all beyond the Free Mkt & Individual Liberty's ability to pay the interest or pay back ending in bankruptcy

Well, didn't think tax change would pay for itself but main incentive seemed to be giving wealthy GOP donors more money to donate. That worked.

Harry Truman once famously remarked "what I need is a one-armed economist, then I won't have eggheads telling me: well, on the other hand"!

This is news? We all know this was a deliberate gift for GOP donors, there was no intent to pay for this.

This should surprise no one. The assumptions from the GOP and Administration were wildly over-optimistic. This policy will go down as a tremendous mistake. I expect it to be recognized as such as soon as the next recession hits and there is nothing to prime the pump.

Is the point to keep taxes at current levels, or get rid of handout to other countries who don't respect us and people who are not even tax payers?

Why does this not surprise us? The tax law favours the Trumps of the world.
