It just struck me this morning ... think about teachers, doctors, scientists ... why do we pay salaries like this to these people to judge singers?

Katy Perry makes more than twice as much as Bryan and Richie. J Lo made more than 4 times as much as Urban & Connick, Jr. Where are all the equal pay for equal work protesters?

Wow, it amazes me how much they are paid and our teachers can't even get a small pay raise.

Getting paid by a freaking mega television broadcaster and getting paid by the government are completely different.

I understand. Public majority in this democracy seems to be celebrity first. They're paid well because their popularity gives them $$ value to corporations. (IMO) Teachers are facing crisis. They need support for their dedication & lasting contribution.

Yes I understand but there’s no point comparing those 2. The teachers need to take a firm stand and the government needs to act on it ASAP

#Teachers do and states need to listen. They are having to teach kids who have problems at home and now are faced with arming themselves in the classroom. Maybe some parents need to pay more attention to their kids and less to reality shows etc. Real life is happening NOW.

The bad thing to most of these type of shows is that the judges and or host receive more fame and recognition than the winners
