Not a hard call. Trade school lets them get a job. College lets them get in debt. Unless you are going for STEM (in which case college is Essentially a specialist trade school.)

Trade school is a good choice and can be a huge advantage as a homeowner - diy repairs and renovation can make for a healthy ROI + #BONUS ...built-in #sidehustle ! So, yeah, it makes sense honors students would see value in the trades.👷🏼‍♀️👷🏿‍♂️👩🏽‍🔧👨‍🔧👩🏾‍🚒👨🏼‍🚒

Nothing wrong with trade school, trade careers can provide a comfortable middle class income, and we need tradespeople. We should stop trying to force everyone to get a 4 year degree. 50% of Americans cannot, or will not go to college.

There isn’t anything wrong with high schoolers NOT going to college. College truly isn’t for everyone.

If one is going to open their own shop and that's all the person wants to do by all means just go to trade school if you want more than that you have to at least get a bachelor's degree to move up the corporate ladder you'll never make it with just a high-school diploma
