A politician only "breaks" with someone when they vote against what that person wants since their voting record describes their only measurable action. "You are what your record says you are." Ryan is 100% with Trump.

If Paul Ryan supports something, I automatically assume that thing must be bad for the poorest 90% of Americans. If Paul Ryan opposes something, I automatically assume that thing must be good thing for the poorest 90% of Americans.

On tariffs. Yippee. There are scandals and corruption and chaos from this administration breaking by the hour some days. And Pau Ryan is going to raise a stink about tariffs. He's the Number 3 in the country. He could put a stop to all of this. Interesting battle he's chosing.

Right. And I promise I'm not trying to be rude. It's just really frustrating to see people praising Ryan for this. Let's be really careful about lionizing him for anything. He has power. He'd bring the government to a grinding halt if Obama so much as wore the wrong tie.

Not a surprise...mainstream republicans in congress want free trade that exploits cheaper labor in other countries even if it means losing American jobs and strategic capabilities...it's all about helping the rich get richer
