President Trump is pursuing a go-it-alone approach with his tariff plan that imposes more immediate pain on potential allies than on China itself, and complicates efforts at a coordinated responsehttp://on.wsj.com/2FccAcR

Ask Canada for that matter. I wonder how they react when you say "dumped steel"

It’s not dumped, they have been selling Canadian metals in the US for over 50 years.

steel dumped into canada probably 25 or so, who knows but i think our gov's response should have been "we will work with our US counterparts to find a fair resolution" instead ....

China is #11 in Steel imports. Two of top three are partners in NAFTA. If he didn't need to change the news cycle away from ever-growing scandals, he wouldn't have triggered this foolishness. What GREAT way to run national policy.

He’s mad because his world is falling apart. He feels like he’s being attacked, so he’s lashing out. He’s a fool, not worthy of the Presidency. Tax cuts will be useless to his donors when their investments tank.

Guy is a clown, with unemployment so low why is he so concerned about factory jobs from the 60’s to come back? Move on towards the future not the past and leave trade alone as you have no history in dealing with world economics @realDonaldTrump

If we are such a burden on our allies then they should provide for their own sovereignty. They could shop their national protection around to China and Russia. Maybe they’ll get a better deal.
