By following his nationalist instincts Trump has broken with the pro-business factions in his administration and his party, writes @greg_iphttp://on.wsj.com/2F9TWhN

I remember when Obama jacked up the trade deficit:https://www.cnbc.com/2016/01/06/us-trade-deficit-narrows-as-goods-imports-near-5-year-low.html …

The U.S. has essentially everything it needs to survive independently, (not advocating isolation here), so why should we be penalized for it? When the RINOS,Communists and WSJ are all on the same page, POTUS is doing something right.Repubs + Globalists = lining their pockets.

Ridiculous! As a country we could not continue with huge trade deficits. Time for action before we go backwards and become an agrarian country once again.

By "pro-business factions" do you mean, #RINO and #Neoconservatives? If so, that's a very GOOD thing! #MAGA RT

I trust @realDonaldTrump on this issue—he’s book smart (Warton School of Business) as well as over 40 years of On The Job experience! Pundits are all (disasterous) theory and have NO On The Job experience!

Not just China as a bad actor. South Korea produces much more steel than domestic demand and dumps various products in US. #SteelTariff

It is not a pro monopoly or multi - national corporation position but a good move for smaller local companies looking to gain market share.

The idea that curbing of long ignored disastrous policy policy of allowing foreign countries dumping steel in the US to destroy our domestic industry is somehow anti-business or anti-free market is the height of lunacy.

Whatever Trump touches turns into s_it. Serious decision making is not his forte. With his short attention span he is ruled by impulsive tantrums. No good and very dangerous.
