There’s nothing new. Same people. Same location. Same fighting. Should expand. What else is going on in the world? Anyone understand what happened? Anyone working on a cure? Any existing worldwide govts still in existence? Many more chars could be added with these new themes

Just follow the comic and they’ll have storylines. I stopped again when they cast that small old dude (Comedian) to play Negan. Negan is supposed to be a 6’5 huge guy who is a complete psycho. And Rick has 1 hand thanks to The Governor.pic.twitter.com/3IjbRcuLiH

Maybe. But certainly stale as is. I loved that episode where they came into a CDC location and there was some explanation as to the cause of the disease. First season? BTW, I haven’t read any of the comics.

They never do explain what happens. The cool part of the comics is the zombies are just noise. The issue are the evil people that become the leaders once civilization falls apart. The worst people have the fortitude to just take over. People are the terror.

Good god, it's amazing that this one-trick-pony of a show lasted as long as it has. Honestly, no show should go beyond three seasons; it just becomes stale and repetitive. But, if there's possible revenue, that dead horse will keep being beaten.

Killing Carl was a huge mistake. He was supposed to be the future. Now they need to change locations and introduce new characters. The Saviors storyline has run its course.

I'm fed up with the on-again-off-again scheduling. Plus the realisation that there will be no resolution, no final ending. The stories are getting weaker and more predicable.

At the very beginning, few seasons were fighting against zombies. Now they fighting each other for more than 5seasons and every season they end up one character! As it supposed to be exciting lol

It's not a matter of how long the show has aired, not at all. Successful shows run twice as long or more. It's much more a matter of changing the show into a whole different show. Lots of mistakes with limited lead character scenes as well.

The show is being drawn out way too much. I'm a huge WD, watcher and I too have lost interest. 😪😪😪😪😴

This has been my favorite TV show since it first began, but it started to go off the rails, IMO, around season 7. I hope they're able to fix it. I began watching primarily for the zombies, but the zombies aren't so much a part of the show as they once were.
