Dick's Sporting Goods' decision to stop selling ARs today follows CVS' groundbreaking move to stop selling cigarettes in 2014. Today CVS is the 2nd largest drug chain in the US. Don't they mostly sell bolt-action rifles and shotguns? Either way, just buy from a gun store.

I don't want my last thought before dying to be "If only I had a gun to protect myself from X." You know what is better than getting into a knife fight? Shooting a guy that is rushing you with a knife. I have been in some bad spots where this sort of thing has become relevant.

If they want to get rid of all gun sales and ammo I’m fine with that. But what they are doing now is no different then what business did in the south before the civil rights act by not servicing people of color.
