In America's cultural chasm on guns, people on opposing sides often can’t even conceive of how people on the other side can hold their positionshttp://on.wsj.com/2GM5xEn

It is being reported that students involved in the Parkland massacre are receiving death threats from NRA members. I would like the WSJ to confirm this report. If this is true, this is an act of domestic terrorism

We could begin, as we could on so many issues, by not thinking the other side evil. We could invoke a very quaint concept that disagreement is just disagreement and a starting place for dialogue not war.

Nonsense! VAST majority of Americans in favor of common sense gun laws. NRA holding us hostage by controlling Republicans in Congress with their $$! Keep your guns! No assault weapons for civilians! Politicians need to listen to people or we will elect people who will!

Welcome to every left vs right political position since Trump has won. There is no middle ground, the left never wanted anyand the right is giving up on trying. Open civil war is inevitable.pic.twitter.com/JB7rtFFkcs

Society is moving towards no guns. Can't stop the progress. Eventually 2nd amendment will be repealed.

Are you basing this on the 25,235,215 background checks for firearms in 2017?

We are an increasingly urbanized nation where gun ownership is an exception and not the norm. In smaller cities and rural communities, the opposite is true. What is the same for both is the rights afforded to us by the 2A. That right is there to protect us from tyranny.

This is one of the few “Absolutes” in this debate. If you have never owned a gun, shot a gun, gone hunting, defended your self, family or property of course you would have no concept of the deep commitment we gun owners have for our weapons.

🇺🇸A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined... ~#GeorgeWashington #WashingtonQuote #MondayMood #American #Forefatherspic.twitter.com/yOJivTIolA

Puppy holding chalkboard George Washington Quote: "A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies."

Unfortunately, Trump just doesn't have the capacity to build a bridge ___________ any kind'ah bridge . We have to work around, over, or past him . He doesn't have the tools, equipment, knowledge, or experience .

The left says they don’t want to take your guns. The right says ..don’t believe the left. The left says ..ok we’ll enact fucked up laws ( that we won’t enforce) on “ types of guns” The Right says..see death by a thousand cuts...and in the end they’re going to try and take them!
