Well no shit. But are massive payouts for holders more important than people? Honestly, there is a ceiling. Companies can't make infinite amounts of money. They need to be OK with plateaus that keep profits stable and costs covered. That's where the good ol' days are.

Once upon a time ppl had higher wages so they had more $ in savings accts. than the stock market. Interest rates were decent. Corps. didn't make mega profits so CEO's could get millions upon millions. It was a time when we had a fairly prosperous middle class unlike today.

Companies arent people. Corporations arent people. Lets stop treat them like profits and share prices matter and get back to focusing on the humans that run it daily.

I'm not sure you'll be seeing much wage growth without very significant job creation at the LOWER income levels. (like we would have gotten from health-care and infrastructure as opposed to the
#TaxCutsandJobsAct which just makes things worse...)Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

That is a flawed assumption not true for 100% of companies. Better wages better and more efficient employees in well run companies.
