But there’s no profit in Mental Health. That’s the whole problem. It costs way too much with too little results for too long. Treatment is poor at best and not long enough and the people being treated fall through the cracks way too easily.

If we lock up the mentally ill, who will be left to run the Democrat party?

if armed response and checkpoints are ineffective, get rid of them in government offices.

Mental illness is a global issue; this is not. These opinion pieces are embarrassing.

GOP should address mental health issues by insuring people can afford the mental care care needed. In the Gun Debate the GOP should address GUNS

The @WSJ is exhausting. Mental health issues are not the root cause of the US gun violence crisis. Easy access to weapons of war, high capacity magazines and states that don’t require background checks have greater impact than mental health limitations.

You obviously only read the cherry picked segments from the report on the assault weapon ban . Banning these weapons is just one of many steps that must be taken in this country... we are not living in the old Wild West...

The biggest favor the GOP can do in the gun control debate is to start caring more for American lives and break away from their NRA masters..

Unbelievable! The WSJ comes up with the best answer of all. Because the gun isn't the problem, the sicko holding it is. This sicko gave plenty of notice. Law "Enforcement" blew it. @WSJ

Kim when an AR-15 can blow way a 6 yr old’s jaw, Splatter brains of students, dismember people, do you really think the biggest “favor” the GOP can do is address mental health issues? Mental health experts disagree.
