As an FYI, the article states that the special prosecutor was willing to indict people on "perjury" charges. Actually, the charges (and related pleas) were for the crime of knowing and willfully making materially "false statements" under 18 U.S.C. § 1001. @PeterWSJ

The very fact that they are trying to "manage" his testimony shrieks guilt.

Whats to figure if he really did nothing wrong he should be 100% open to answering all questions. Cause that’s what innocent ppl do.

Testifying is different than answering questions...no charges.

If your innocent why would you worry about charges. It’s easier to remember the truth than lies.

Yes I see that and no different here but if your innocent no worries. Sorry but he’s lied a lot so most likely he’s going to get caught. It’s what happens when you lie all the time. Sad to see so much hate and divide in our neighbour to the south.

Ok, This President does not lie as he is enthusiastic about his plans which have been thwarted by the Opposing Party or Dems and Rinos. He is not a diehard Politician and fights the system if necessary.

News flash, it's Muellers call as to how donny tesifies, not donny or his lawyers, get it? There is no wiggle room for the liar in chief. Him thinking he's above the law isn't gonna fly.pic.twitter.com/AGpDIhbJYD

Honestly, give it up. Talk about a waste of tax payers money! FBI resources that could be better spent on following up on tips of possible crimes another possible shooter?

There is no relationship between this investigation and shooters being stopped or not. And you know it. The fact that Trump supporters are so opposed to him being questioned is pretty telling.

I don't agree supporters of our President oppose him from being questioned. What frustrates the President's supporters is how he is attacked then gets labeled as a man that spreads hate when he defends himself. The left has never seen a Republican stand up for himself in decades.

In other words: we'll let him testify if he doesn't have to speak. Interesting strategy.

“You’re playing chess here, and both sides are smart chess players,” Mr. Lewis said. Um, could someone fact check this for us? Trump’s lawyers have so far paid off a porn star, blabbed about the case in an outdoor restaurant, and sent abusive emails to strangers. The best people?
