It is pretty sad that we can't even prevent horrific tragedies in this country when people give us advance warning that they are about to commit them. This is a monumental law enforcement fail.

Let's put measures in place to systemtically follow up with warnings. This is you grow as a society. you learn from the mistakes, make corrections and keep going.... you don't sit back and blame blame blame and not take any forward progress

LEO actions/inactions throughout were not just consistent with, but were exemplars of, larger LE policy towards violent youth in Broward. The policy is ideologically based, & is well known among journalists there. The policy was seeded throughout US LE depts by a prior US AG.

Yet again.. How is a kid able to get his hands on a military style firearm that has only one purpose? A rifle that has one purpose A rifle that has one purpose A rifle that has one purpose To maul down and destroy life

A rifle is an inanimate object, therefore it cannot have a purpose. The Sheriff’s Dept. and the FBI however, do have a purpose; to protect & serve. They failed on both accounts.

Nope.. an assault rifle is engineered for one purpose. Hence the term "assualt" Just like a sports car is not engineered to go off-roading

The sole issue of the FBI and the Sherrifs office is redirect and whataboutism. The question on hand is how a teen was able to get his hands on an AR-15. A firearm that only has one purpose?

He didn't have an "assault rifle." Those have been effectively banned since the 80's. Learn your ridiculous Lefty NewSpeak before commenting.

        The AR-15 is a semi-automatic M-16 variant with a full auto conversion.
