As Trump calls for teachers to carry guns to protect children, some districts already have gun-toting teachers in schoolshttp://on.wsj.com/2HEessz

The school three of my grandchildren attend has a big sign in front that says the teachers are armed. The sign has three grammatical errors in it. No joke. It is sad.

Teachers are not professionals who can retaliate quickly in such situations. There ain't any way to stop these terrorists attacks on educational institutes except total ban on guns.

The USA needs to ask itself why it has to issue school teachers with guns when most of he rest of the world don't need to. Is it something to do with being civilized.

This just leads to more guns in schools ? There should be no guns .

Do you suggest every day conceal/open carry citizens notify everyone they come near they are armed? I don’t think the gun will suddenly turn evil in the middle of a geography lesson. Sure they should be notified, but why are you blowing it out of proportion?

Next, Trump will say every kid in school should be required to carry a gun, along with teachers, janitors, etc.

Teacher already needs to take psychology classes before teaching, now gun training. But not all teachers capable of carrying guns. Like some R handicapped teachers & not all lessons with traditional seating. There are science labs chemicals can explode, theatre fixed seat rooms.

'The armed deputy assigned to the campus of a Florida high school during a deadly shooting last week stayed outside the building during the attack and failed to engage the shooter'... not everyone with a gun is equipped to use it. #GunReformNow

While #progressive #leftist #feminists complain & opine about made-up probs like #ToxicMasculinity one of the most important things desperately needed today in #America and that #patriots can work toward is DEVELOPING and ENCOURAGING #masculinity in #boys and #young #men
